Coolum State School has a current enrolment of just over 1000 students in classes from Prep to Year 6. We are an enrolment managed school. In order to join our school community, in most cases you will need to live within the
Coolum catchment zone.
All students who reside within the local catchment area are eligible for enrolment. The Principal will hold places for students who relocate within the catchment boundary throughout the school year.
Enrolment of students from outside the local catchment area will be managed to ensure that the total current and forecast enrolments do not exceed the school's built capacity and where applicable, will ensure there is an even spread of students across year levels or class groupings.
The enrolment process includes the following:
Checking that you live in the enrolment catchment area.
Completing the relevant enrolment forms (one of each per enrolling student) located in the "Enrolling at our school" section.
Providing proof of birth ie. Birth Certificate or Passport.
A current passport and visa is required for any child born overseas.
Two forms of proof of residence in the catchment area. Please read the
School Enrolment Management Plans (EMPs).
Attending an enrolment meeting with the Deputy Principal (if required).
