Students are required to be at school every day, unless there is a good reason for the absence
i.e. illness. We ask that parents notify the school if their child / children are going to be absent. Notification of absence can be made by accessing the "Register Absences" link on the School Web Page. (This is the preferred method)
Alternatively you may telephone the office on 5471 9300 or email - info@coolumss.eq.edu.au
Should the school not receive a reason for student absence, a text message will be sent to the primary carer's mobile number listed with the school at enrolment.
This notification is only sent where the school has not already received notification of the absence.
Your response to the text is required via a phone call to the office or by using the absence link or emailing as described above.
